Verify your identity online – fast & secure
Certum has implemented a fully digital solution, providing a new level of identity verification required to activate Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) and Qualified Electronic Seals (QSeal). It has been integrated into selected Certum certificates and is the primary verification method for the new SimplySign Qualified Electronic Seal. This solution was developed in collaboration with IDnow.
With IDnow Online Ident, you can quickly confirm your identity digitally and sign the contract online. All you need is a mobile device, a stable internet connection, and a valid passport. Avoid the hassle of sending paper documents to Poland or presenting your passport in person at our office in Poland.
As of 1 February 2026, companies will be required to issue e-invoices via the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF). One of the key methods of authentication in the system is the Qualified Electronic Seal.

No. The e-Delivery system requires identification of individuals. The seal is mainly used for corporate document authentication and KSeF.
No. A Qualified Electronic Seal is always linked to a single company, because the company’s VAT (NIP) number is the unique identifier in the KSeF system. Each company must have its own seal.
A document signed with a Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal) has the same legal effect as one bearing a traditional company seal, but in digital form it also provides full evidentiary value. The QSeal guarantees the integrity of the document and uniquely identifies the legal entity from which it originates. Under the EU eIDAS Regulation, such a document is recognised as authentic and legally binding in legal and business transactions.
A valid Qualified Electronic Signature with PESEL is required to activate the company’s e-Delivery account.
Yes. Foreign users can obtain a Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal) for use in the Polish KSeF system via remote video verification, provided they present a valid passport. The Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal) will be linked to the company’s Polish VAT (NIP) number, which serves as the unique identifier in KSeF.
Yes. A foreign citizen can obtain a Qualified Electronic Signature remotely through video verification using a valid passport. The certificate can be issued in a mobile application (such as SimplySign) or on a cryptographic card. EPREL (European Product Registry for Energy Labelling) is the official EU database where manufacturers and importers must register products covered by energy labelling regulations, such as household appliances, lighting, televisions, or air conditioners. Registration is mandatory before the products can be placed on the EU market. EPREL provides consumers with access to detailed information about the energy efficiency class and technical parameters of each product.
To access EPREL, a company must obtain a Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal) linked to its KRS number. The organization profile in EPREL is verified by sealing the verification file with this QSeal, which confirms the company’s identity and grants access to register products.
