How long does it take to get a qualified electronic signature?

Typically 1 business day. After ordering, identity verification takes 20-30 minutes (remote video verification available in Polish and English), and the certificate is usually issued within 24 hours.

Is a Polish qualified signature valid in other EU countries?

Yes. Under the eIDAS Regulation (910/2014), a qualified electronic signature issued by Certum is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature in all 27 EU member states.

Can a foreigner without a PESEL number get a Polish qualified signature?

Yes. A passport or EU ID card is sufficient — PESEL is not required. We assist foreign clients through the whole process in English.
