What is the difference between a qualified seal and a qualified signature?
A signature (QES) identifies a natural person, while a seal (QSeal) identifies a legal entity (company). The seal is used for automated document sealing, e-invoicing (KSeF) and confirming document origin.
Do I need a qualified seal for KSeF?
For companies, a qualified seal is the most convenient way to authenticate in KSeF (mandatory for large companies from February 1, 2026). Alternatively, a qualified signature of an authorized person can be used.
